Open Pike Night feels quite grown-up to welcome author John Jackson Miller!

We as Star Trek fans are no strangers to the concept of a literary universe to go along with our television fare, and OPN is happy to continue that pairing by sitting down with John Jackson Miller, author of the first Strange New Worlds tie-in novel, “The High Country” - available in February of 2023!

What if we told you that the synopsis for “The High Country” contains the words “experimental shuttlecraft,” “volcanic wasteland,” and heavily implies Pike's presence in a saddle?

Of course, many of you likely already know Miller from “The Enterprise War”- or perhaps you’re more familiar with the time he’s spent in the spaces of Star Wars, Mass Effect, or Halo?
